Hi, any news??
I still can't load almost any site with the VPN turned ON :|. Plesase fix this issue.Same Issue here! Still!
Interestingly:
40.0.2308.15 beta works like a charm WITH VPN active! the final doesn't.@ dirkkramm, I've just tried 40.0.2308.52 beta and the VPN doesn't work as well. The badge its always switching between Blue & Orange!!
Hi Guys, the problem should be solved now. Could you restart Opera and check again. Please report if there are still issues with VPN.
@ kmielczarczyk, Waiting for some feedback from you

Betas are just that, testing releases. Things break. No use crying about it. If you want a stable release stick with Opera Stable. That is why it is called what it is.

@lando242 - please read again to get a better picture:
the old betas ARE working, the latest NOT, the developer IS working and the final is NOT.
So we are crying about the FINAL one and are WONDERING about how the old betas and developer are working while the final and the latest beta is NOT. -

See the "known issues" section of http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/2016/10/opera-41-beta-harder-better-faster-stronger/ to unclog the VPN in the latest beta. In brief, go to clear browsing data in the preferences, and choose the "third party services data" box there.

It doesn't, not for me. I can't access any site, and get the same notification over and over again: 'Authentication credentials required.' When are you going to fix this, Opera?

Clearing "Third party services data" under "Clear browsing data" fixed the "Authentication credentials required" when using Opera VPN problem for me:
Menu->More Tools->Clear browsing data
Uncheck everything except "Third party services data"
Select "the beginning of time" (I didn't check to see if a more limited date range would work)
Click "Clear browsing data"

from "Clearing Browsing Data", Specially "Clearing Third party services data".
I even had another problem, namely I couldn't login to google.com because of an stupid error about not having cookies set and that is over as well, so thank you very much.
