File name after download

File type does not seem to matter, as long at it has a comma in it's name this problem occurs. I download mostly mostly doc, docx, and pdf files from my mail, but for the test mentioned above I also used a txt file and the same thing happened. I can provide you with a link, but they are normal ms office/ pdf files, nothing special, except maybe for the long names. Still, the txt file had a short name and it still had this problem (I named it "test a,b,c").

Ok, as you didn't want to do it, I did. I created a file and uploaded it.
Try this link. It's working fine.

I know, like I said (and thanks for the input, btw) google and file sharing sites work fine. I seem to have this issue ONLY when downloading from yahoomail on Opera (other browsers work fine). Try sending that file to a yahoo mail address and then download it from there (using opera and yahoo mail interface on pc).
On mobile interface also works fine. -

Yes, Yahoo has this issue with Blink (Opera and Chrome at least), and works fine on Firefox and IE11. I don't know who is to blame, Chromium or Yahoo (they might be using something non-standard that IE and Firefox for some reason handle).

Makes sense because opera for android uses presto and it does not have this issue. However chrome, latest version at least, does not have this issue either, and it uses blink. I will test an on older version of chrome and get back to you.

"Nope, it doesn't. Unless you are using Opera Classic."
Opera mini actually.
Anyway on google chrome 49... something, anyway the latest version still compatible with winXP, has the same issue... so i guess the reason is that opera uses an older Chromium. So... i guess no solutions?

Are you sure? Then why does opera (for pc) still has this comma related issue while chrome (latest version) and opera mini do not?

About?

Mini uses Android's Webview, maybe it does the difference. Or maybe the fact that almost everything on Mini is done on the servers.

Mini uses Android's Webview, maybe it does the difference. Could be, I'll investigate further. However (at this point) it does seem to be a chromium issue.

Well opera for pc and opera for android both have this issue, as well as chrome for pc. Opera mini (for android) and chrome for adroid do not have this problem. They all use chromium, this is kind o lf strange.

This isn't opera related but I just found out that downloading files with the dash character ( longer version of - ) in their name also causes issues and this is true for firefox too (in addition to chrome and opera). Moral of the story: avoid ymail when sending files.
