Hi. when i installed O40 the farsi fonts appears like this:

Changing the Encoding did not help!

Anyone understand this? In Opera ver 40.0.0.2308.62, if you select Menu > Page > Encoding > Unicode > UTF-16

Web pages change to what look like mostly Chinese characters, no images or anything like formatting. Select UTF-8 and everything renders normally. Is this supposed to happen?

Got this issue fixed after changing the windows font!
It seems that the font i was using wasn't compatible with farsi fonts.
