Opera constantly freezing

Recently I've noticed that when I'm browsing the web after a few minutes it freezes. The title bar never shows (Not Responding) but I can't click the X in the corner or minimize it from the title bar or taskbar. I'm forced to close it using Task Manager. Is there anything I can do to fix this or will I have to change browsers?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in settings.

Are you using the latest stable version? Are you using any extensions? I would try using the portable version so you can separate the application itself from anything else that may be causing this.
