      Hi

coming from Chrome using Opera bcs. I got problems with the font (Clear Type) in Chrome.
Opera 37 does not shows the problem, Opera 38 does. I ecpect that the chromium in Op. 38 is updated also?

Pls. see http://os-space.de/download/o1.png for good Opera 37 font and
      http://os-space.de/download/o2.png for bad font.

Is there any solution to get the font in a smooth way in Opera38 also?
ClearType I definitely DO NOT want to use, bcs. other programms / text are looking ugly and I can not work with.

How can I provide Opera automatically updating to 38?

      Thanks Mike

Yes, same here. This is also in google chrome's latest update, so it is very likely related to chromium.
Please fix it, its not enjoyable anymore. (Thinking to switch browser too) ://

It may be related to the fact that Chromium now uses Directwrite to font rendering.

Try setting up clear type on Windows.

Bad solution. I don't want to touch anything from Windows, when the problem is in Opera (Chromium).
