Here's an official reply from our Data Protection officer:

Opera Air collects certain types of data according to our Privacy Statement for the purposes of delivering relevant advertising and personalized content, only with the user’s consent. Even when data is collected, it is never enough data to be able to identify an individual user in any practical way. If users don’t wish to share such data, they can disable all data sharing through the browser settings, under Privacy and security > Privacy consent settings. By disabling those options, Opera Air sends no data outside simple functionality data, which is anonymous and not associated with the user.

We will gradually keep updating the Chromium version.

Our team checked if there's anomaly but, didn't find any.
This is current resource consumption of the browser in it's "early access" stage.

We continuously work on improving different parts of the browser, so at some point this resource consumption might also change, but it's too complex to say when exactly.
