We totally understand that changes like this can be frustrating, especially when you’ve grown fond of a specific tool!

To give you a bit of context: Aria has evolved into our new AI Chat. While the interface looks different, it’s actually a more powerful version of the assistant you're used to. We made this switch to support more advanced features that the older version simply couldn't handle anymore.

I’ll continue to clarify our position whenever it's asked, as we want to keep everyone in the loop even when the news isn't what you're hoping for. While nothing is ever truly 'written in stone,' Tab Islands simply aren't on the roadmap for the foreseeable future. We appreciate you sharing your perspective on the aesthetics and the implementation process, though.

@Flemnipod Can you confirm AdBlock is disabled?

As @leocg mentioned, that might be caused by YouTube new anti-adblock algorithms.

So called Tab Islands are not a part of Opera AIR and there is no plan to change it for now.

Tabs islands, with all it's colors and structure doesn't work well with AIR's minimalistic mission.

We aim to do that still this month. Fingers crossed.

Regarding the RAM usage, please know that this is something we continuously monitor and work to optimize. You can expect improvements in the near future.

As for the inconsistencies with the dark UI, we are aware of it and working on it for some time already - we plane to release changes within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates!

I think you found a visual bug.
Whenever speed dials are disabled via settings, the search bar shifts towards right, instead of being centralized.

Removing speed dials 1by1 is a workaround true, anyway thanks for reporting, will look into that.
