  it's all in an experimental stage ... and has been for years. The only reason all browsers now push it, is so they can, maybe, be at the top of the ladder.

  Just read all the negative reviews. It's not ready for prime time. And that's for all the browsers.

  Personally, I avoid it - serves no purpose for us. And if you're asking, probably serves no purpose for you 👍

  (sidenote: software engineer here for 30+ years, so have some insight)

  I have this problem too. This is the only reason I switched to Opera. But with this gone, I think I'm going to switch back to Chrome. Sorry Opera 😢

  FYI, I did not install any extensions. The button just disappeared recently.

  @theamazingwillow so to me it works only when I select a text without any break lines. Try selecting just 2 lines next to each other.

  But it kinda defeats the purpose lol cause you rarely want to summarize a 3-line paragraph.
