Server could have just been overloaded at the time. Not sure.

For future reference, if a download is slow, you can cancel it and try one of these directly to download the offline package:

Make sure you have notifications turned on in Windows so the notification asking for your permission to pin the taskbar icon pops up so you can allow it.

So, when you goto the URL opera://password-manager/settings, you're not seeing a "Download file" button? Do you at least see your passwords listed at the URL opera://password-manager/passwords?

What version of Opera GX do you see on that computer as seen at the URL opera://about?

Sometimes restarting the computer helps too.

So, Really, 197 views and not one person can tell me why Start /Wait doesn't work on Opera.

Not even an Opera Developer, No One. How Amazing.

The last thing I want to do is have to go back to Damn Google Chrome, but at least it works.
I'm trying to remove the "Always open these types of links in the associated app" permission

We need this, I have the same problem. Feature is great but becomes problematic when you face dire situations in game because you click the pop-up window accidently or when you are looking around in game mouse goes that window etc...
