  @leocg OK now this is weird. After looking at another thread I decided to just restart the comp. And now it's working the way it's supposed to. Before, the speed dial home page had an X in it's tab to close it, which closed the browser, that's gone now. And that's a new one, been using Opera for years and years. Could be something to do with Win 11. But I'm happy the problem is solved. Thanks leocg.

  Yea, idk how but it randomly started working? Programming can be weird, maybe just some update and caught it at an unlucky time. Thanks anyways yall and sorry

  Same issue in 2024. The best solution to the problem is to uninstall Opera and try other Chromium-based browsers instead.

  @tjvbull The extensions are used to add features to Opera and other browsers.

  When I try to donwload a program, Opera GX crashes in the "Save as" window.

  @sgunhouse Before I do it, And I have tried with trustworthy programs, Discord, Google, Even Opera Itself. It just does not let me download it. Should I just reinstall opera?

  I discovered that if I put the download path to anywhere else but downloads, it works, for some reason... But I would like to keep downloading in Downloads
