I just found out that going to settings > privacy and security and then turning off "protect me from malicious websites" seems to have worked, i dont know if it will work with yours

@leocg Yes I have overlooked that the folder is hidden. I have performed the steps. It seems to have worked. I'll see if it later after a restart of the Mac also everything remains logged.

@forind I'm not sure if there's a way to import all your data. At least you could export your bookmarks from Brave as a html-file and import it to Opera GX. That gives you all the bookmarks back but you must move them to the Speed Dial manually if you want that.
