I know that opera blocks ads but can I make it also block redirects?

I find it annoying that every time I click anywhere on the page it takes me to a new tab so can you please help me with this?

@leocg I am dragging to a webpage from Microsoft Word and I am trying to open it in Opera but instead of opening it downloads which is not what I want it to do

How do I make it so that whenever I open something new in the sidebar that it stays in the sidebar and does not make a new tab?

@leocg Like a document link in Microsoft word whenever I drag the link try to make that it opens in the tab that I am in or the tab I want it to open in instead of a random new tab it downloads it, that is confusing and annoying and I would like help fixing that.

PS(this a random question but I thought the benefit of forums is that multiple people can help you so why is that you have been the only one trying to help me so far?)
