Please remember to run it form the TV Store e.g. from the Develop category (see https://dev.opera.com/tv/testing-your-app-inside-opera-tv-store/). Only then the uid will be passed. It won't work if you will just type application url in the TV Emulator url field for example.
The application user interface can be done in 720 only but it should be possible to play video inside such apps in higher resolutions. It may seem wired, this is due to how applications and video is rendered.
Please i'm lost how can i get this id uid=(number) i tested to get this val from php like this $id=$_GET["uid"];
i should to get the id from OPera tv stor and put it in this var uid like that www.myapp.com?uid=345034905
so please can you show me the method to get this id
Opera TV Store support videos and music, so you should be able to run any application from TV Store (notice that YouTube application is not coming from Opera TV Store).If you still have some problems please send example of application name which came from Opera TV Store and it doesn't play videos or music.
Anyone can build their own applications, using HTML5 and JS. For full set of guidelines, please refer to:
http://dev.opera.com/tv where you can find articles describing process of building apps.
We are sorry for this inconvenience. On real market devices we know that Youtube API HTML5 video is working good. Please try your app in Opera TV Emulator. If you can access, please use Sony BDP S3100 for development. If you cannot, just use Opera 12.16.
Opera TV Store is not only the app store but also the platform itself, currently using a version of the Opera Presto rendering engine to run HTML5-based apps in TVs, set-up boxes and other equipments like Blu-ray players. The OEM has to pre-install it so of course you'll only be able to get it in your equipment if you buy the correct model.
