Well, Opera Presto didn't exactly have an ad-blocker but a tool to block elements in a page.

You are right,
BTW, FanBoy made a great job with the "block content" file, like Easy List now with Opera Blink.

I prefer the old Content blocker so you can have a clean page, blocking more ads and elements, just seeing the elements needed.

At the other hand,

I think current ad-blocker is far more simple and easy to use.

Yes, easy but limited, at least for now. :rolleyes:

Exactly the opposite. because of the acquisition, Opera Software ASA was split in two: Opera Software AS and another one that kept the Opera Software ASA name.

Opera Software AS is owned by the Chinese group and is responsible for the browsers. Opera Software ASA is what remains from old Opera Software and runs Surfeasy and so on.

It appears that uBlock Origin is still the way to go as it has been for a while.

During my testing, the built-in ad blocker was not only noticeably slower but also blocked content that it should not block forcing you to white list sites for no reason.

The mainstream extensions do not cause you such headaches while offering additional features like subscribing to different filters. I doubt any extensions will be able to use less CPU than a built-in ad blocker, but it simply is not quite there yet to be considered a full replacement in my opinion.

We tested on Windows 7 and Linux, and in both cases it offered H264 in SDP for WebRTC but couldn't decode it.

You may use SystemExplorer or Autoruns too, and disable any strange startup entry.

Sometimes the problem it's in the shortcut, so try open Opera from "Launcher.exe" in "Program files".

You said "Opera Beta" and " a lot of TuneIn Radio stations", so not all stations, you can not expect that everything works on a Beta version.

Is there another browser that I can use instead to make them play again?

Using Opera Stable I'm listening 4 TuneIn stations without any problem.
Try Opera stable, if problems persists, try sharing stations to test them.
