Try Combofix, at Bleepingcomputer.com

You may use SystemExplorer or Autoruns too, and disable any strange startup entry.

Sometimes the problem it's in the shortcut, so try open Opera from "Launcher.exe" in "Program files".

You said "Opera Beta" and " a lot of TuneIn Radio stations", so not all stations, you can not expect that everything works on a Beta version.

Is there another browser that I can use instead to make them play again?

Using Opera Stable I'm listening 4 TuneIn stations without any problem.
Try Opera stable, if problems persists, try sharing stations to test them.

Aa far as I know, Opera gets its revenue mainly from searches like most of the browsers.

I have the same issue; I think the problem is caused by Website Blocker plug-in. Once I removed it, the problem was solved.

My own solution (at least temporarily) to this situation is as follows. I've been an Opera user since the late 90's and I'm not about to completely abandon Opera for another browser (i.e. Vivaldi, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) regardless of the benefits other browsers bring AS well as the fact that the Opera browser is now Chinese-owned. I will continue to use it for everyday browsing with two exceptions: buying and banking. I'm using the Avast Safe Zone browser for both since it essentially sandboxes the browser when doing either. This means that 95% of what I do online is with Opera and 10% with Avast. I suppose you could do the same with Bitdefender's Safe Pay feature as well.
