It just didn't install. I did receive a message, which I can't remember now, but it did advise that there was some incompatibility between Lastpass and Opera.

Thanks for the attemps to help leocg. I only installed opera as a trial, to see how it was, and have decided not to persevere with trying to add Lastpass to it. I have been using Firefox very happily for many years and have decided to still use it as my main browser.

Will probably keep Opera on my PC for general searches though.

Try this:

On Windows search, look for 'proxy'. It should show you the shortcut to 'se proxy server'

Click on it and, in the internet properties window that will open, click on 'lan settings'

Uncheck 'automatically detect settings'

Check if the browsers work.

Perhaps, the "Download from Youtube" extension is responsible. Disable it.
After awakening Win 10 from hibernation state in the Opera browser the Internet connection freezes for about 30 seconds o_O Superfetch error?

I agree but whats the point if nobody else seams interesting to help me confirm it actually blocks or not.

I have a software that actually blocks things like this anyway and is not browser dependent so I'll guess I just stick with that.

He (known as Jaybro in the old forums) wasn't obnoxious. I mean the people who would change posts after their target would read it, or stuff like that. If they could tell when the mods were offline they'd make their posts then - but if they couldn't tell then we were more likely to catch them.
