My above post was for no reason flagged and moderated for almost three hours, after approval it doesn't have any annotations on the main board about the author of the post, the time of dispatch and so on. One more thing, why this post above doesn't have

Leo, I am using O32.0.1948.69, and O32 on my Mobile tablet, on both of those I get this::

An error occurred. Please try again later.

BUT...I just signed in to sync, and now I DO get the normal page. Seems that if you have already reset it (which I always do after I have synced my devices), you will get the error message. I never leave my devices synced, too many problems from the past (jumbled bookmarks, duplicates etc on my Opera for Computer) I will usually sync my Windows laptop first, then sign out, then sync my Mobile. The sign out. Then rest it again

My bad.
I want to login opera on Android but temporary server error!!

can i synchronize data connection from mobile to laptop? im using opera data service from one of the mobile service provider here n d phils. i downloaded this app at my mobile and laptop. enabled tether data connection to pc but it seems dat it doesnt work. is it doable? thanks!

Discovered the same thing as @xyzzy today. This is from a brand new sync account created yesterday! Come on Opera, at least let us know if there is some kind of work around for this annoying broken sync feature. At least introduce some kind of tool (as @raaimin2 suggested) that makes it easy to remove duplicates.

Synchronization of a new device should result in both devices having all bookmarks - but I did say "should" and not "will", if possible you might want to back up everything. No, there is no setting for one-directional sync.

Even a temporary Fix would be a remove duplicate button. This would rapidly reduce the need for the user to manually go through their bookmarks and even with the fix would still be a nice feature to have in case its a user error instead of the a technical one.
