Opera mini doesn't play videos...maybe your browser does/doesn't?
Modern mobiles can handle anything desktops can - except Flash I guess. I certainly don't want to see mobile sites on my Android tablet ...
Moved to Opera Mini forum, where someone might actually know if there's an "Identify as" setting for Mini.
