  Thank you for your information. My guess is that the stored information will become viewable in a later update, but it will be some time before that happens. That is fine with me. I really quite like the directions Opera has been heading in.

  I am surprised that copying the favorites.db and/or favorites.db-journal did not import the speed dial settings. My guess is that this works for most people, but I am doing something wrong. Both files in Opera Stable and Opera Developer are the same size as well, which is a little surprising.

  Still, you have given me some interesting things to look into.

  @vux777: I removed one default icon but I have the same error.

  Oh yes thats a great answer.

  No the Problem is a bit different.

  Lets make an example.

  Imagine, open windows: Opera and File Explorer from the OS.
  Then you are in Opera. Press Alt+Tab to change to Opera. Opera keeps staying in front, and the Window look changes to inactive. In the Taskbar the file explorer gets active but does not come to front.

  Same problem can be seen with overlapping windows.
  I can reproduce the Problem on 3 Windows 8.1 machines.
  The Problem keeps with other applications after closing Opera, a reboot fixes this. Problem is back again after Opera beta was started.

  Hmm, I want to have the "classic scroll" (back again) and no gimmicks —— but your 😉 addon seems to be implented yet in the latest developer release...

  e.g. on this page there is missing the scrollbar. But I want to see in each moment my position on the page...

  But, hmm, I will check it out 🙂 first a coffee...

  Click on the top of maximized window to move it? Doesn't make sense to me.

  I don't do that but i think it may nake sense if the person is moving the window to another monitor for exasmple.

  well I can;t place important stuff in bold since there's no formatting options

  ofc you can put two asterixs (*) before and after bold text
  it's in the link at the bottom

  Ok,i really never had seen that option in Chrome. So forget what i said about the feature is also missing in other browsers.
  Anyway, i still think it's not a top priority feature.

  :doh: I've read this everywhere! But I thought I already had the power user settings enabled (I remember enabling it in the past), that's why I though it has changed in some of the newer versions of Beta. It turns out the power user settings were turned off though. Thanks for answer, it made me actually TRY to enable it :).

  I have the same problem, but worse with Opera 27.0.1689.69. Win 7 32

  In this Example from above it wont even load the CSS output. In fact, the buttons on the bottom of CodePen dont work either.

  This Screenshot is my Opera.
  This Screenshot is in Firefox and all the functions work correctly.

  It is the same case for the other 2 examples "meakl" posted above.

  The site i used to upload the pics (http://www.imagesup.net/) i even had to use in Firefox because it didnt work in Opera.

  I just figured out what the problem actually was so im not sure when it started.

  I managed to fix this and return to my old favorite search shortcuts. Just rename "Opera Next/xx.xx.xx/Resources/default_partner_content.json" file into something else. Then you can map any keyword to any search engine.

  When new version of Opera arrives, you will need to rename new default_partner_content.json file, but then your old bindings will appear [no need to create them again].
