Recently when Opera was run on a Debian Linux desktop, it crashed with dmesg error message :

Out of memory: Killed process 2419396 (opera) total-vm:25570472kB, anon-rss:47512kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:1024kB, UID:1000 pgtables:816kB oosm_score_adj:300

Opera version is 86.0.4363.23

If you use Wayland windows manager try X.org, just at log in screen choose it at the right bottom corner. Wayland at this moment does not support screen capturing.
