@leocg Right, it was PC World error. Anyway two decimal position after the last separator the Opera converter might assume what it was. If such improvement created further issues one could find out it and either Opera'd improve it, or would turn back to the present version - not bothering wrongly written prices any more. A trifle, but perhaps the small improvement in code might be worth enough to pay attention to it? Who knows? 🙂

I threw the latest update off the machines and reverted back to version 70.0.3728.154. All booksmark show up.

Actually I have found a work around. Opera hasn't fixed this issue yet, and probably won't. Its a shame that Opera lies and says it supports Ubuntu 16.04, but in fact, it does not. Work around is located here at the bottom by kmod:

Short answer is you have to rebuild the deb pkg citing version 3.18.9 instead of 3.19.12. I have personally done this with no effects on browsing so far.

I have the same problem with Opera 71.0.3770.198 on Wayland session of Gnome 3.38 on Arch Linux.
On my system this problem only occurs when I open two or more windows of Opera. The spinner that indicates page loading freezes for ~5 seconds when I click on any link and the page is not loaded until it unfreezes, and Opera takes ~3 seconds to open context menus and switch between tabs.

Does anyone know a solution please?
I use intel hd 4000 video adapter.

@paulandrewanderson Opera imports data from default browser doing the installation. You can click in Options in the installer and uncheck such option.
