Was this ever resolved? When clicking a link on Facebook and Twitter a new tab is created but not loading. It doesn't matter what version of Opera but here's what I have currently.

Version: 37.0.2171.0 - Opera is up to date
NO extensions are loaded.

System: Mac OS X 10.11.3 64-bit
Command Q doesn't quit Opera?

I use this Chrome extension. There are a few settings to go through to get it to delete data on exit. One small downside, you have to close the browser window (red x in top left) for it to work before exiting the browser (cmd Q). Better than forever waiting for a native feature.

add setion in "Preferences" file (\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable)

find:

add after:

,"download":{"directory_upgrade":true,"extensions_to_open":"pdf","prompt_for_download":true},

Thanks for the reply!

Currently my OS time setting is not set a for 24 hour clock.

Individual emails display a 12 hour clock time, while the inbox view displays a 24 hour clock time.

Any other hints are welcome!

A zoom 'button' on the tool bar, with 1% granularity is an absolute must.
Can anybody advise the latest version that has that?

I ask for the support to other users who believe, like me, which is a measure inconsistent, impractical and unsightly. By the same token, they should rename Spotify, "Spotify music player." Or Netflix, "Netflix video player". These companies do not need to describe what they are, because their brands say it all.What cause it is there is doubt as to when looking for the application among many others.

This should be what you're looking for :). If it worked, Opera will tell you "Update checker is disabled" when you go to Opera -> About Opera.
