I meant to say that in the profile there's a file called "Preferences." It's not a folder.

Well, for me Speed Dial is for pages that you access on a daily/weekly basis or, at least, very frequently. And Stash is kinda of a bookmark with a screenshot of the page.

You're right on, leushino. If that's the norm for the forum, good people want won't want to waste their time with it, and you will get more posts like that. We can do better here. Exactly what davehawley referred to, to "keep the spirit of Opera alive," and also, of this forum that for many years was one of the best around. Well, probably the "best."

Now, if they could give us a better forum search engine, we all might become inspired to improve our posts. As it is, even if someone writes a post like the great William Shakespeare on the Opera browser (surely the bard would have liked Opera -- Presto and Blink) :), why the current forum search vehicle would never be able to find it. Imagine something. à la Hamlet, as great as "to browse or not to browse, that is the question," lost forever. All I could say to why the search vehicle here is bad is, to quote the bard, "something is rotten in Denmark," though my apologies 🙂 to any Danish forum users here I may have offended with that.
I CANT GO ON ANY WEBSITE OLNY THE ONES THAT OPERA MADE.

Had same problem with Pandora and other flash like youtube, I finally fixed it....Go under opera menu and un check Opera turbo if it is checked, that is what worked for me. I really like Opera and was just getting ready to dump it because of that so I am really happy its working. Hope that helps

I had the same problem, disabling hardware acceleration solved it. But I hope they will fix it in a new version...

The only way AFAIK is to edit its .idx file in the Opera\Profile\Icons folder.
If you open that in notepad you will find the favicon image file specified there, and you can edit it to point to another file.
No guarantee that it won't get overwritten though.

Probably because having thumbnails in tabs are pretty much like having duplicate (mini) copies of each tab that is open being rendered in real-time, which is probably slowing the browser down, especially the youtube one/s.

Because you probably don't have a password set for your Windows account; that's the password that Opera asks you for when you click ''show password'' or ''show'' in opera:settings/passwords.

yes it is in a flash-game. And it says in the game to shift-click to copy the URL. It works in both Explorer and Chrome, so I was just wondering why I couldn't get it to work with Opera.

Here's a link for the game, I'm not sure it's much use though. Needs an account to play it.

Why wasn't I getting the icon on my phone?
Because my phone is apparently smart enough to say, "Er.... You sent this to yourself, dude." and list the EMail as a SENT email, rather than a received one.
Earlier when I was supposedly getting them that must've been when I was messing around with my other GMail account in Opera and sent it from the secondary to the primary (which my phone is tied to) so, naturally, I'd get THAT one since it was an outside eMail. I since removed that secondary eMail (as I was having trouble figuring out how to send messages from my primary rather than from my secondary), removed it, and had since been sending test mails to myself. Which, again, my phone realized.

Anyway, with that figured out it seems everything is working as it should.

This extension doesn't let you block GIFs on specific sites, but in general: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/gif-blocker/oekejgakomlgjhglcknafljncaibhbpa. Try installing it, but firstly install this one: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en. Note that I don't know how effective is the extension called ''Gif Blocker''.

I did the test again, open several tabs in the same time, Opera uses a considerable amount of CPU.

What's on those pages/tabs?

I opened Opera Blog, Opera Fórum, Opera Mobile Store, Opera Addon, Gravatar, Imdb, Munkpedia, Baixaki, Opera Software Blog. I think that is all.
