You can find an old version of Flash (and other software) on oldversion.com, though that is not an official site and downloads must be regarded potentially dangerous. Also, if you don't know which version you are looking for (i.e. which one suits you best), it might be a bit of a hassle to find out.

To be honest, I wouldn't even consider installing Flash on an old notebook. I also don't do it on newer computers, because I still have to find a reason for it to be there.

Bummer. Thanks for the reply. I really hope they add it back. I really don't care for Firefox, but 12.16 is not the best, performance-wise.

Honestly, I see very few foreign characters in that PDF. I see incorrect characters with really weird spacing - to the point where I can only see about half or 1/3 of the width of a lot of the characters ... but they mostly all look like standard "Western European" characters.

Of course, Opera 19 is an unstable build (Opera Next), but as Pesala can reproduce in the current stable version we'll leave the post in this forum.

In Firefox26, that page currently returns: "VerizonWireless.com is temporarily unavailable." Sounds like the site's down, at least at the moment.

I think it's more likely that you were told a fib. I think it's more likely that google, etc paid Opera to force people to use their search engine.

Maybe Opera should also force people to use a specific home page for fear someone might hi-jack that? Or better yet, maybe someone from Opera should surf the internet for me because I might download some malware onto my computer?

Yesterday i installed the latest Stable version in another computer (from O12 to O18) and i saw the dark theme working fine. So today i tried in my computer and it works ok too.

So it seems it has been fixed.

As someone else pointed out: the train has already left the station. You won't get back your old Opera so either learn to live with that fact (i.e. stick with an older Presto version or adopt the newer Blink version) OR download and use another browser but stop going from thread to thread wasting our time with pointless rants. As you were told elsewhere, this is a Help not Rant forum.

As others have observed:
1) Develop Opera Presto - will not happen. Presto 'development' ended a year ago.
2) Develop Opera Web Kit - will not happen. The new Opera versions are now based on Blink.
3) Undecided - will not happen. Opera has already made its decision.

The point is that the poll is pointless. The deed is done. Opera has decided, made its adjustments, and has moved on. The train has left the station, and to stand around on the platform and argue or mope over whether it should have headed down another track is merely wasted breath.

There are a lot of script calls trying to run there, apart from bookfi.org's basic site script:

After you start a search, a couple others try to run:
recreativ.ru
topadvert.ru
ozon.ru

It may be that one of these is still pulling/sending information after the page essentially loads, setting cookies, etc.

Afaik, you can't. For security reasons your passwords are encrypted and "attached" to your OS login, so it can't be used on another computer or by another user.
