I'm using Opera 23 at work and we use an HTTP proxy server. When setting Opera to use the default Windows system settings for the proxy I can access the internet and do all my routine operations. However, whenever Opera tries to update itself I get a prompt telling me have to authenticate to the proxy $1 and a valid hostname within out corporate network. When I authenticate with the correct credentials the prompt keeps coming back and Opera times out after a while.

I don't understand why the auto-update feature isn't working correctly while the rest of the internet access works like a charm.
I hope there's a (future) fix for this because I want to stay up-to-date and secure

I know the DuckDuckGo discussion if off-topic in this thread, but I'd also really like it as a default search engine. Apple added it to Safari as a default to promote privacy. So unless Opera is sponsored by Google I don't see why it can't be added.

The goal of limiting the list is to counter malicious search engines, so if a search engine has proven itself a reliable and trustworthy, why not add it to the list?

I don't quite understand why Netflix demands the usage of Silverlight all of a sudden. It worked fine with the previous version of Opera.
Unfortunately the trick of changing the user-agent didn't work for me either.

I noticed that when I installed Silverlight on my Mac it doesn't appear in the plug-ins overview in Opera. Any hints on how to get it working?
