RE: Need to Reset Opera Without Losing BookmarksOpera for computers
@joninflorida @joninflorida How about just opening the Bookmarks Manager, open Full Bookmarks View, and in bottom left see the button "Import/Export", hit export to HTML, and save the file and re-import it after the reset?

RE: New Windows Not Opening Focused: mildly frustratingOpera for Windows
@tedsped aND now it's tomorrow and.... Opera is again losing focus or not even opening windows in the foreground. And when it does, I can't just start typing in the address field to do a search.
Anyone out there experiencing this? Or am I just kinda (dumb).

@tedsped 89.0.4447.38
well would you look at that. I Quit opera, opened it up, it self-updated, and it now seems to be holding focus normally. Wow. That is Impressive tech support guys!
Thanks all.

New Windows Not Opening Focused: mildly frustratingOpera for Windows
Hello!
Just came back to Opera after a little hiatus.
Unfortunately it is not behaving the way I expect. I'm on Win 11 and my desktop version of Opera is Version:88.0.4412.74 (Stable release track).I open a new window in opera, or I open opera from the desktop using a shortcut, and the window pops up but I can't just start typing my search details in the address bar. I have to alt-tab back and forth to get the window to gain focus or have to use the mouse to click in the address field.
Yuck!
Why?Help?
Thanks! -
RE: Cannot tap the "allow" or "deny" on permission popupOpera for Android
@wgh wow that's some security going there! Defeated by landscape mode. Don't worry all, it's a chrome issue, check out this google help forum listing: same thing going on there. https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/14464568?hl=en

RE: Cannot tap the "allow" or "deny" on permission popupOpera for Android
@neetesha wow. That has to be the most draconian approach to security that I've seen in a long time. So, Opera, I now have to go into advanced app settings and turn off all the apps (including Norton360!) That use overlay features, Just so I can tell BestBuy where I live so I can find the closest deals??
You can and should do better, Opera. Look! All you have to do is go into landscape mode to defeat your "feature". Seriously, this is a pain in the keister I don't need.
Fix it. Don't be lame. Opera is better than that.
