Well, apparently it's already supported in Chromium so I don't see what's they have to figure about it?
I mean even when Microsoft launched Edge without many features 1 year ago they at least had an Opensearch support, I'm not sure about the technicals difficulties but I'm sure it's more easy to implement than extensions at least.

Opensearch SupportOpera for Windows
Why opera do not support Opensearch? Chrome based on Chromium support Opensearch and I can add any search engine I want just by visiting the website(and you don't have to enter any url at all) and even edit or make it my default search engine, with Opera I can add a search engine but I can't make it my default engine and I can't even edit my default search engine for example if I don't wanna use a regionnal google instead of google.com I can't change while it's easy to do it on chrome.

RE: All 27 Tabs Reload / restore an accidentally closed sessionOpera for Windows
Hi, I don't know if you have a solution but try that: Options->Browser->Start-up and check tahe last option, it will load only the tab on focus when you restart browser
If you want session manager download this extension: Download Chrome Extension
then go on chrome store and download Session Buddy.Good luck

RE: Please Add a Restore SessionOpera for Windows
Any session extension is not like Chrome's or Firefox's , those two's automacatically save your session and you can restore it if you accidentally close your windows while another is open.I have V7 SESSION and it's save just manually even id I have enabled automatic session,I see anoother but it have an tab limit.
"Opera already has a 'continue where I left off' option that is similar to Chromes." I know and use it already.
What I ask is specially handy in case of any incidents and I'm sure I'm not the only one who want it
