Do what the Playstore says. Uninstall it and and then install it again from Playstore. Since it's pre-installed in your phone there will be an option named 'uninstall updates' in the app info. Click it. Then install it from Playstore.

Yes. If you're using OM on Android go to search bar and tap on the Google icon. There you'll find other search engines. Tap the one you want to set as your default search engine.

Exactly. The new white theme and UI is worse. Black one was way better. Don't know how they thought this'd be a better skin.

The problem still persists. I deleted the browser and downloaded it again. Now, there is one more problem. It takes too long to open and load. Please, fix it.

This new version is really worse. I've the same problem and some other annoying bugs as well.

I don't use the sync option so it's always turned off. When do you think they will update it to 8.1 to remove bugs?

I've updated Opera Mini to the latest 8.0 but there is a bug in it. It frequently freezes on my phone for 2-3 seconds which is pretty annoying. My phone is Sony Ericsson Elm and it's a java phone. Kindly, help me.

I've recently downloaded the latest Opera Mini 8.0 for java. But, the new white user interface looks worse. The previous black one was way better and more noticeable to the eyes. I suggest you guys to add an option for customising theme so that we can change the the looks of the browser according to our likes. Please consider this. Thanks.

I've updated to the new 8.0 version. But personally, I don't like the new white UI. Black one looked awesome and premium. Don't know why Opera thinks this new white skin is better. There are also some bugs in this new version. The browser hangs for a while(say 2 or 3 seconds) frequently on my phone. And while writing something when I turn on/off capslock it doesn't show anything in the small box on top, that is, it doesn't show abc, Abc, ABC, though it works. My phone is Sony Ericsson Elm J10i2. Please, consider and solve this problem.

By the way, does anyone know if Opera will update the browser with the previous black skin and UI or not?
