Hier erscheint aber auch eine Checkbox: Opera in dieseer Sprache anzeigen !!! Kommt in Wubuntu nicht!!!

es ist Deutsch als einzige Sprache eingestellt:
aber wie Du siehst der Rest bleibt Englisch
Du denkst also die Sprache der Grundinstalltion des Betriebssystemes wäre ausschlaggebend?
mmh..... ich teste es mal in den nächsten Tagen ob ich im Windows die Browsersprache ändern kann.

Ich habes so von dieser Seite herunter geladen und somit die aktuellste Version herunter geladen.
Nachdem ich schon mal den Vorschlag alles zu deinstallieren und benutzerdefiniert installieren bekommen habe, habe ich sogar nochmal Wubuntu neu installiert und auf jungfräulichem System Opera installiert kein Unterschied!
Eine Möglichkeit "benutzerdefiniert" zu wählen erscheint/gibt es hier nicht !!!!
Wie schon mal erwähnt...... das gleiche Problem hatte ich vorher bei Zorin auch.

Ich hab mich auch nicht verschrieben
Es ist eine Ubuntu Version mit einer Windows-ähnlichen Benutzeroberfläche, bei der man die Ansicht Windows10 oder 11 wählen kann.

Da gibt es auch noch eine weitere Version mit Windowsoberfläche: ZORIN (das hat mich aber von der Bedienung her nicht überzeugt)
die Menüpunkte gibt es bei mir nicht!
nö - das funktioniert nur bei Icons auf dem Schreibtisch,
in der Startauswahl und in der Leiste nicht

Dein Vorschlag/Einstellungen funktioniert in Windows - hier in LINUX jedenfalls nicht, das ist auf jeden Fall ein Bug in der Opera-Software
Ich habe zwischenzeitlich eine ähnliche Lösung gefunden ähnlich der von @Schwabe1972 - siehe Screenshot
Funktioniert aber leider nur mit einem ICON vom Schreibtisch aus.

Hej......
für einen Windowsnutzer (seit Win3.1) sind alle Erklärungen sehr konfus.....
...naja.... hoffentlich ist in LINUX nicht alles so kompliziert, sonst fürchte ich, werden wir keine Freunde.
Discover ist installiert - die*.rpm Datei habe ich runter geladen, installiert sich aber nicht. Alle Versuche im Internet eine Lösung zu finden sind fehlgeschlagen - für Ubuntu besteht allgemein die Ansicht, man muss die Datei nach deb konvertieren und dann istallieren.
Womit ich wieder am Anfang bin - keine benutzerdefinierte Auswahl - und nach der Installation alles Englisch!
Das einzige was funktioniert, was ich im Inet gefunden habe...
"Wenn Opera partout nicht deutsch sprechen will, obwohl in den Einstellungen Sprache 1=Deutsch
und im System alle Sprachdateien "Deutsch" installiert sind:
opera --lang=de"
Nach Eingabe diese Befehles im Terminal, startet Opera in Deutsch - alles OK - bis man das Fenster schließt.
Nach erneutem Start wieder alles Englisch.
Habe mich gestern mit einem Arbeitskollegen unterhalten - der nutzt "Zorin" - er hat exakt das gleiche Problem.
Kann es sein das es ein Fehler in Opera ist?

Von diesem WUbuntu halte ich wenig, da es zwei Betriebssysteme kreuzt.
Ist das wirklich so? Ich habe das eigentlich so verstanden, das es Ubuntu ist und nur eine Win-Bedienoberfläche besitzt
