What we all feared happened: the "closed tabs" button disappeared again, this time with no way to get it back. I do not understand, why the devs do want to upset their customers this bad. I know you can acess these features in another way. But I do not want to enable the sidebar all the time that takes up space on my screen, and especially without that bar, there is no replacement that is as easy and quickly to use as this button. Why won't you give us the option to enable it? Do you want to make us use the browser the way that YOU feel like is best? That is not what Opera is or should be about.
In short, if you really care for your customers opinion: give us that button back!

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
@chrisohm I agree with you. For me this feature was also, as small as it might seem, the biggest reason to stay with Opera. Once it will be completely removed, there will be far less holding me back to change to another browser if it ever tempts me.

I found an option do enable the button again, but it cost me the new button. Disable opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs

RE: Opera 68 is here with built-in Instagram in the sidebarBlogs
I really loved this update at first, especially because of the new workspaces, but what I am really missing now is the recent open tabs dropdown button, which was replaced by the magnifying glass. This button was, at least for me personally, always the biggest argument for Opera, so I would really appreciate it if I had the option to enable this button again.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
Hello!
The newest update brought some cool nw features, like beeing able to search in your tabs from the interface on the top right. I did notice, that the symbol for this replaced the symbol for opening the drop down menu to see your recently closed tabs. Is there a way to bring it back? I could not find it.
If not, please add the option to do so. For me, this is one of the most impoirtant features in Opera, and I do not want to be forced to use the side bar all the time.
Thank you fr your effort! -

Cannot make Opera my standard browserOpera for Windows
Hello everyone,
every time when I open Opera it asks me if I want to make it the standard browser. I always click yes, but the next time that I start the browser it asks again. When I tried to set Opera as a standard in the Opera settings, the button did not do anything. I then went to the Ssandard program settings of Windows 7 and tried to set it as a standard there, but the program was not even shown in the list. Despite that, Opera acts like a standard browser, when I open a link, it always opens with Opera.
Can you tell me what is going on here?
Thank you in advance!
