My feature requests for Opera News Reader (Personal News):

• Grouping RSS feeds Currently Opera News Reader automatically groups RSS feeds based on site URLs / sources. But it's not practical because o certain web site offers feeds in different topics! Opera News Reader must allow us to group RSS feeds based on user interests such as news, health, tech, etc.
• Unread news counter for each RSS feed
• Save for Later - A save button for saving the news
• Labels - Labeling a post is helpful when saving it
• Starring the posts
• Sharing - A share button for sharing the news on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Opera News Reeder (Personal News) groups RSS feeds based on sites. But I want to group my feeds via topics such as NEWS, LIFE, WORK or etc. I suggest to Opera to add such kind of grouping functionality in Opera Desktop Browser.

We cannot control the color, but we can change the image in each speeddial. I suppose that you know this; but I want to give a note to new Opera users here.

How to use site logos in Opera Speeddial?

When you open a speeddial click to heart icon at the right end of the address bar then a pop-up windows will be opened. At this window, we can select one from many different images on the web page. Most probably one of them is the site logo. You can select and set it as the speeddial image for the site.

When Opera installed, its effective adblock feature is not set to active as default. In fact, most users do not prefer to take time to tuneup Opera settings. Without built-in AdBlock feature, Opera is not real Opera. So activating built-in adblock with core filter lists such as EasyList and EasyPrivacy increase the popularity of the browser.

As another long term Opera user, I also wonder what is the problem with Savefrom.net Helper extension? Opera listed the extension in the start page of Opera Addons in years. If it's really security issues why did Opera serve the Savefrom.net in previous years? I want to learn more details about this issue!

When I make a clean install of Opera, Opera Sync only sync some basic settings such as 3rd party cookie, panel icons, bookmarks and speeddials. But I want to sync my addons, Opera theme, ad block settings, speeddial settings, etc.

In every install I manually activate Opera Ad-Block, select ad-block lists, disable Opera password manager, add my custom search engines, disable Google search box on startpage, disable MyFlows and etc.

Does Sync in Opera only sync bookmarks and speeddial? If no, why my Opera cannot sync other settings?

Note: I use Opera x64 (both Stable, Beta and Dev versions) on Windows 10 x64.

I know grouping downloads is not always easy. Or grouping in docs, music, video, programs or archives (a feature found in some download managers like IDM) is not an effective grouping strategy. But it would be helpful for many of us.

A smart grouping such as assigning labels to downloads such as personal, work, projectA, etc. can be a good solution for downloads grouping.

I know Opera Developers enhance this solution.

New snapshot tool in Opera Dev does not work when I opened PDF files in Opera browser. Is this a generic issue?

I use Opera Reborn at home and work. VPN works fine at home; but it does not work properly at work. I think ISP at work block this feature with a rule or anyway. Maybe this can be a case for you.

Speed Dial also needs to change thumbnail images of speeddials! Vivaldi done this!
