In recent versions of Opera I've noticed that four finger swipes on the trackpad navigates forward and back. This interferes with custom gestures I use with bettertouchtool. Is there any way to disable this gesture? Thanks!

RE: shockwave problemsOpera for Mac
I've posted here a few times, tried every suggestion, every version of Opera including the new 64 bit developer and the problem persists.
I think the best solution for everyone, at least for now, is to disable the plugin monitor in opera://flags.
It's not ideal because whatever is causing shockwave to hang it still happening, but you'll stop getting the constant dialogue box.
I haven't had any noticeable performance issues since disabling the plugin monitor -- if shockwave is hanging, I'm not noticing it. Is it possible that the plugin monitor is just too sensitive?
If anyone else tries this let us know if it more or less solves your problem too.

RE: shockwave problemsOpera for Mac
Thanks for investigating
I will say I haven't experienced it on Opera stable since upgrading to 23.0.1522.75, but it seems like others have. Whenever I upgrade to a new version, it seems to get better than gradually the crashes increase, although that may be in my head. I can't really say what's triggering it, but seems to be at least occasionally youtube and sometimes sites affiliated with sbnation.com that have embedded video on the home page, for example libertyballers.com is one I visit often that seems trigger the crash from time to time.
I'm on OSX 10.7.5.
Other apps I usually have open include itunes, caffeine, sparrow lite, twitter, bettertouchtools, growl, alfred. I haven't had occasion to check activity monitor at the moment of a crash, but it doesn't seem to affect anything else or slow things down for very long. I would guess I normally have 6-8 tabs open when this happens with at least a couple including flash content and the crash affects any tab with a video -- i get a banner saying shockwave has crashed, reload page.

Anything new on this? I've tried everything suggested here without success. I'm using the last stable opera version now.

RE: shockwave problemsOpera for Mac
You can find the information about the profile on opera://about
However, I don't think reinstalling Opera will help you in this case.
What version of flash do you have installed?According to opera://plugins I'm using version 14.0.0.145 and shockwave 14.0 r0
Thanks for your help.

RE: shockwave problemsOpera for Mac
I'm having the same problem on the last two versions of Opera Next, now 23.0.1522.58.
I'm using 10.7.5.
I've tried uninstalling shockwave and even tried using without reinstalling it but I get the same message pretty regularly and it slows the browser.
I've tried with no extensions, that didn't help.
I want to uninstall Opera and reinstall but I'm not sure where everything is saved and I don't want to lost my speed dials, extensions, etc. Thanks.
