Since the recent update to pihole, Opera no longer will remember the pihole password. I'd attribute that to the pihole update but Edge, Firefox, and Brave all still remember the password for that site same as before. Any tips on how to get Opera to remember the pw same as it used to are appreciated.

Disable Address Bar Dropdowns

I have seen this suggested before and nothing gets done. I find this dropdown annoying and I must not be the only one. Please consider allowing one to disable it.

I think there used to be a way under Site Settings>View permissions to add a domain that was allowed to keep cookies between sessions, but now I can't find it. Can I still allow this? I want a site to stay logged in and keep its settings between sessions.

Thanks for your suggestions, but the problem went away after the Opera update about ten days ago.

What does that mean? How do I pursue it?
Also I get a similar problem logging in to pge.com the local utility so when more than one site complains it leads me to think there is something in Opera that they want to see and they don't find it. Hence my question.

Schwab users would be grateful if they were not greeted with "Time to Update Your Browser" when logging into schwab.com.

@donq Clearing the download list removed the latest red line. Odd because the latest download was completed without any problem. At least I know what to keep an eye on now.

Seems like when the bar went from blue to red it meant there was a problem, but now I get the red bar every day and can't find a problem. So what's up?

That's weird, what worked once now fails. So I switched to AppleWebKit and I still get "Time to update your browser"
OK, I'll go bark at Schwab now.

Bingo, that works.

I had tried the "Random User Agent" extension off the Opera Addons page. Guess I'll move on to another user agent extension.

I could have made that clear unfortunately.

Lately I keep getting "Time to update your browser" from schwab.com Same result in private mode, pihole off, no adblocker apps on. So what's up with this?
