I apologize for the trouble; it was an extension that caused this issue.
Scroll to the top of the page by clicking the active tab should work on internal pages

Ditto, i'm using version 116.0.5366.21 and this still happens (although I can say that randomly at times, it will "turn on" and works on the search page as expected).
