If i go to google.com the extension "Stylus"
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne
is not working. (of course it has permission to do so)
If i use Microsoft Edge Version 127.0.2651.86
all is fine. -

I installed the extension, enabled "allow access to search page results" for the extension, went to google.com and set a user style of:
* { background-color: red !important; }
and the background of everything on the Google page turned red as intended.

First ... have you closes Opera after installing Sylus and then start Opera again and it is still working ?
I am speachless,
tried it with Opera GX -> it´s workingNow Opera One:
- disabled all extensions (except "Stylus")
- reset all flags
-> it´s not working - reinstalled Stylus -> not working
last Opera Version where all is fine is 109
btw Stylus is working on any other site !
info: if i deactivate and then activate stylus again it is working

Testing with the CSS I mentioned in my comment earlier, I can confirm the issue in Opera One 112.0.5197.39 64-bit, Opera One 111.0.5168.61 64-bit, Opera Developer 114.0.5242.0 64-bit and Opera GX 111.0.5168.104 64-bit on Windows 11 23H2. After restarting Opera, the user style doesn't work for google.com even though "Allow access to search page results" is still enabled. You have to disable the extension and reenable it to get it the styles to work right on google.com. Note that unchecking and rechecking "Allow access to search page results" does the trick too as that reloads the extension.
There is one note though. If you're not logged in to Google, the google.com page will show a bubble/tooltip/dialog on the page asking you if you want to sign in to Google. After a restart of Opera, the CSS from the extension still works for it (where it's all red in the case of the CSS I used). It's just the rest of the page that the style is not applied to. That bubble/tooltip/dialog is in an iframe from ogs.google.com though.
I can confirm that everything works as intended in Opera 109.0.5097.80 64-bit.
So, looks like bug that you can report at https://opera.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals. Please post the bug number here after you're done.

The issue with having to disable and enable an extension again after restarting Opera to get its "allow access to search page results" setting to work was just fixed internally. No guarantees when the fix will be in a public build, but watch for DNA-119467 in the changelogs in posts at https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/.
