After restarting Opera, the user style doesn't work for google.com even though "Allow access to search page results" is still enabled. You have to disable the extension and reenable it to get it the styles to work right on google.com. Note that unchecking and rechecking "Allow access to search page results" does the trick too as that reloads the extension.

There is one note though. If you're not logged in to Google, the google.com page will show a bubble/tooltip/dialog on the page asking you if you want to sign in to Google. After a restart of Opera, the CSS from the extension still works for it (where it's all red in the case of the CSS I used). It's just the rest of the page that the style is not applied to. That bubble/tooltip/dialog is in an iframe from ogs.google.com though.

I can confirm that everything works as intended in Opera 109.0.5097.80 64-bit.

So, looks like bug that you can report at https://opera.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals. Please post the bug number here after you're done.
