RE: Why is my Opera browser defaulting to Netherlands?Opera for computers
@maltyne58 You mean your IP location right?. Disable data server to discontinued from using their VPN because when u use data saver everything has to pass through their saver for compression at the sometime allow u to use their data quota on an Internet providers/service operator.

RE: Why is there passphrase option on opera accountOpera account
@mftgamesyt Hmm u did that your self or someone did it or u have created a new account mistakenly or otherwise or opera suspects you're not the owner of the account through fails logging attempts so they may decide to clear all/some sensitive info/data before allowing you to gain entrance/access. Finally if u recently reinstalled or cleared the app/program cache files you need to logging again with syncing enable in all obtions ranging from history, webpages, favourite, tabs , bookmarks to password etc for it to synchronized back your data from server/cloud.

RE: [Duplicated] Can't set Opera as default browser on Windows 7Opera for Windows
@losos That is weird. I'm a phone user but I suggest u give the programs privilege writing to your storage or better install and run as an administrator and in the browser settings disabled auto clearing of cookies, history etc. on closing or exiting the browser program/application
Hope that may help. -
RE: [Solved][Duplicated]Is it possible to enable Status Bar?Opera GX
@paxsu Maybe the features is not enable or available in Opera Max or may have been disabled by default for you to find and enable it your self. Maybe it was removed from early update since it might had been seen as causing bugs, lagging, consumes data or clock CPU or doing more harms than good. I'm only suggesting, I'm not a PC or Laptop user but only an Android Smartphone user.

RE: The adblocker is not working topic (Opera for Android)Opera for Android
@leocg Hello i think the issue is (1) Sticky adverts (2) Your rules/settings of adverts blocking (3) Opera respect the order/command in HTML 5 tag coding while writing the web page which says the browser should not block the advert just like telling your file manager to hide a file by adding dot (.) before the file name and also telling media scanner not to scan or display media content in a certain folder by creating an empty file with ".nomedia" file in that folder. so same thing happens in web programming too, and opera don't want to disrespect the instructions, i think.

@vedasri13 Those adverts are sometimes sticky adverts

RE: The adblocker is not working topic (Opera for Android)Opera for Android
@dwelling67 Bro sometimes it's dueto your advert blocking preferences and or if the advert is presumed by opera to be okay or necessary base on your advert interest( via advert id on google) or a kind of mandatory one for tge page else a sticky advert. But for opera advert blocker it's working perfectly normal, not aggressive. i have sofar block over 20,000 advert in lessthan four months with 1 to 2 hours of daily internet surfing.

RE: Opera goes haywire when I attempt to access my online accountOpera for Android
@voyager2golf Well if this is not a want for click or refers, the page has loaded normally on my newly updated opera for mobile on my Android 7 with zero flaws. I surgest u enable all permission for the browser in settings and don't forget to clear your recent launch apps to gain enough RAM, disable auto cleaning apps like Phone Master, RAM booster etc if available and try again. Please don't forget to attached a screenshot
