9/4/15 Opera slower with time up.Opera for Windows
Opera 31.0.1889.174, AMD 8150, 32gb ram, OS on SSD.Opera slower with time up.Happens every time used. Finally refuses to access web sites.Progress indicator spins. Opera does not crash.Opera can be brought up and left idle for a while without any activity to begin with:after a while, upon trying to access any web site it will not.The time to failure seeems to vary.Closing opera and re opening it clears the problem,as long as no tabs were still on the bar when it was closed. If a single tab is on the bar upon closure, open or not,,after failure, when reopening, it will fail to access any web site.I use sync.I uninstalled all of opera and its components and reinstalled my book marks and profile to it,after I had reinstalled Opera.None of the other browers are failing. Some are google based, one is mozilla.I have visited many posts on these forums and tried everything remotely related.

RE: Takes a hole year to load a new tabFuture releases
I forgot to mention when doing the work around I mentioned all the URLs must be deleted. There must be no open tabs when the browser is closed. If there is a single tab left open it will keep the problem of slow,or no,internet access when you bring it back up again.

RE: Takes a hole year to load a new tabFuture releases
This problem seems to occurr both based on time the browser is up and/or how many pages have been accessed.I synced the bookmarks, uninstalled all of Opera and reenstalled my bookmarks. The problem is still there. The only work around I have found is to copy the URL most important to my work at the time, kill opera, bring it back up after a feww seconds and paste the URL back in. It then is very fast for a few pages, especially the first one or two.It was my fastest browser, until this problem I use six different browsers, at times.None of them have the problem, except Opera. I use an AMD 8150 and have 32Gb og ram.I have my OS on an ssd.I sure do wish I knew how to fix it.

RE: Where do Opera 12.16 users go now Opera is dead?Opera for Windows
I AM Uusing avant AND opera19,alternately.There are problems in each and advantages in each.Avant bookmarks is more pleasing to me at present.I wish I had software to link bookmarks to all my browsers. Better still, standalone bookmarks ,resident in my computer. which a call up button in the browser would show the bookmarks.I really would like colorizing of categories within bookmarks. When a browser balks, fails or is troublesome I use a different one. The only time I use MS7 browser is when I am forced to.

Bookmarking in categories in Opera 18Opera for Windows
I am very grateful for the many years of an excellent FREE browser,Opera..It has been far more satisfactory to me,than other browsers, for several reasons. The main reasons being; The freedom to choose, instead of being inundated with commercialism. The ability to categorize and selectively file bookmarks was excellent to # 12.I always hoped for color coding of file headers as an option. I finally discovered how to actually have my bookmarks from opera 12,in 18.I can't seem to discover how to file them under file/category headings,as I bookmark them.
