"no experiment" didn't change anything, also starting with a fresh profile didn't solve the problem...

This file have 56 kib, in Linux about 48 kib. And I have backed up 32 pw, in Opera.
So maybe you have a comparison of this file.

Whats happen to your

C:\Users\**********\AppData\Local\Opera Software\opera stable\**Login Data-journal**

?? same size, or 0
And we do talk about Windows 10, right

HI, here the answers to your questions:

• I'm using Windows 10 64 bit Home Premium, and of course the 64 bit versions of Opera
• My "login data" file is about 340 kBytes big, there are appr. 150 pw entries in there.

@senix Thanks, that's really strange.

I also noticed that the "Login..." file was as big as usual and contained all my passwords - but obviously Opera didn't "use" it. Perhaps I'll give it another try.

No, it didn't work, not even with 65.0.3467.48 (as this was the first update I've done with a 65-version).

Here, on one of my old profiles on Linux, I am able to see my credentials (including this passwords) - even after update to version 65.
On the other hand, in the other topic in German section of the forums, the user @senix describes similar issue, but he says, that though the passwords are not visible, he is able to use them, while login in to the sites, so the passwords are not gone, but only not displayed.

Hi, the function "Offer to save passwords" (in German "Sichern von Passwörtern anbieten") is and was always turned on and the function worked well until the update from 64 to 65 yesterday.
I'm not using the synchronization because it actually never worked on my various PCs.

After having updated the Autofill "area" in my settings was empty, no passwords at all, and also the autofill function didn't work at all.

I've re-installed the last 64 version and deactivated auto-update. I'm waiting for news in further updates.

Unfortunately not, I've updated yesterday exactly with version 65.0.3467.48 - and I had this password issue right from the start.

dasselbe ist mir gerade auch passiert! Upgedatet von 64 auf 65 und alle Passwörter weg (die Datei "Login Data" ist aber noch recht groß, sieht also nicht "leer" aus).

Wo bekomme ich denn die letzte 64er Version her, wie kann ich das Update also wieder rückgängig machen?

Hi, I just updated from Opera 64 to the latest 65.xxx version - and ALL my passwords are gone!
The list of passwords in my settings is empty. Thanks for any help!

Bei mir ist es mit dem letzten Update wieder gut, Wartezeit ist geschätzt eine halbe Sekunde

The same here, I've been wondering for a few days and also uninstalled and reinstalled Opera several times. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Hallo Opera-Freunde,

ich hatte noch nie nennenswerte Probleme mit Opera, allerdings habe ich jetzt an 2 Windows 10-PC folgendes festgestellt (aktuelle Version: 64.0.3417.61)

An beiden PCs war zunächst je 1 Windows-Benutzerprofil angelegt, dann vorübergehend 2 Profile (weil wir die PCs tauschen wollten) und nach dem Tausch haben wir das jeweils andere Windows-Profil wieder gelöscht.
Seitdem wird beim Öffnen von Opera die Schnellwahlseite (also die Icons) erst nach ca. 3 bis 5 Sekunden Wartezeit angezeigt (das Hintergrundbild ist allerdings sofort da).

Habe schon mehrfach Opera de- und wieder neu installiert, ohne Verbesserung. Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen kann? Hat die Benutzerkontensache etwas damit zu tun?
