I agree totally... I thought I did something wrong to lose this button. The current situation is most annoying!

RE: [Solved]Bring back the "Recently closed" button on the top bar on the rightSuggestions and feature requests
I've installed the portable version of Vivaldi now. Seems promising!
Shame. Opera was my favourite browser for a few years now. Unfortunately it bent with the google way of thinking and focused on data exploration by forcing users to perform searches that can be tracked and evaluated.

@leocg Haeh? Why temporary?? Please leave it... It is one of the advantage features of Opera.

RE: [Solved]Bring back the "Recently closed" button on the top bar on the rightSuggestions and feature requests
Shocking.
I had removed the autoupdate.exe, it worked for a few weeks, and now again! opera has updated itself to 70 and the recently closed tabs function is gone!
I wanted to look what the thread "Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?" suggests, and the thread was closed by the moderators just in time for this situation, claiming: "There was enough discussion about this now" What is this, public gagging?Any ideas to roll back to 69 and stay with the recently closed tab feature?

@nsx It looks like you can. I'm not going to post a link here, check out the vivaldi browser help with "importing passwords" and "Sync".

@cfyzuk Thanks for your help.
As i said, I have done this, that is, I have deleted the autoupdate.exe straight away, but now, a few weeks later, suddenly the desired button is gone and the info revealed Opera 70. I don't know why, but Opera seems to have found a way around it to autoupdate. -

@azrael78
How did you get Opera 69? I was a tick too late and searched everywhere, but didn't find a 69 version to revert back to. -
