Yes! The reason is the anti-banner in Kaspersky Internet Security! I turned it off and saving in the MHTML format began to work normally. The file opens normally in both Opera and Edge.
I will launch Opera with a --save-page-as-mhtml key for saving pages in the MHTML format.

I tried to open saved in Opera page using Edge - same problem.
Then i tried to start Opera with --save-page-as-mhtml key. Opera really saved page as MHTML but not Opera nor Edge not open this file - empty screen.

Other browsers saving this page correctly.

Opera saving page incorrectly when saving page as Page (completely), see photo above.
There is no possibility to choose MHTML in menu, MHTML missing!

I did not close the Opera before turning off the laptop and the next time I turn it on, I see that all the open tabs disappeared. I went to the Sessions folder, archived the contents, selected Session and Tabs of the maximum volume - it did not help. I did Ctrl+Shift+T - 15 tabs were restored, but there were a hundred of them. I also see the Session storage folder, but I don't know what to do with it.

Hi everybody.

I upgraded RAM to 4 GB, inserteded more fast SSD and provided maximal OPERA run disabled all visual effects.
OPERA now will run faster, but problems with web-pages and pictures downloads remains.
What else can we do to tune OPERA to run faster and more economocally?

Its really shit situation i do not want to be money-free beta-tester instead of DEVELOPERS and do its work sitting witout any official OPERA information.

Hi, everybody. Working with Opera from the first versions.
But now work with latest versions of Opera its just big shit (жуть по-русски короче).

QUESTIONS:

• why Opera eating up to 200 megabytes of memory for one open page?
• why CPU usage is 100% when opening a single page?
• How and where can i reduce appetite of the Opera i was not able to find such settings?
  My config - DELL Inspiron 6400 CPUC2DUO 2000MHz 2 GB RAM DDR2 SSD 120GB VIDEO ATI x1400 w7ux32 laptop

  Web-pages openings very slow or do not openings. Images downloadings very slow or do not showings.

2. Зачем нужен глянцевый экран???
   Для меня это наоборот, очень большой недостаток. В идеале экран вообще ничего не должен отражать. Качество картинки должно быть в приоритете перед внешней эстетикой (ИМХО).

Дело не в эстетике, глянцевый экран субъективно дает более сочную и насыщенную картинку ИМХО и привык я к нему и у моей модели хорошие углы обзора, хочу глянцевый, хотя 22 дюймовый настольный Самсунг у меня матовый и совершенно это не напрягает.

Сегодня от Китайцев пришло дополнительно 2 гига оперативки, поставлю, отпишусь как дела.

И все же мне интересно на этом форуме бывают разрабы Оперы не знаю кто сейчас у них сейчас кодит норвеги, индусы или еще кто, но официальный ответ и рекомендации получить очень хотелось бы, поскольку аналогичными проблемами и вопросами завалено пол-интернета.

Как вариант рассматривается и замена ноутбука. Для меня главными я вляются три составляющие

• глянцевый экран с высоким разрешением как у моего нынешнего DELL не ниже 1680х1050
• процессор i3 i5 i7 и ОЧЕНЬ тихая работа ноутбука
• диагональ 15 на крайняк 17 дюймов
  Я очень хорошо узучил рынок буков и скажу что там с такими параметрами полная жопа. Модели с хорошими глянцевами матрицами по пальцам можно пересчитать и стоят они как самолет.
  Может быть есть в Опере какие-то дополнительные настройки снижающие хотелки Оперы в плане отжирания ресурсов?

Всем привет. Работаю с Оперой сколько себя помню еще с первых версий и сейчас просто дошел до ручки.
Вопросы сразу

• какого хрена Опера отжирает до 200 мегабайт памяти на одну открытую страницу?
• почему при открытии одной единственной страницы загрузка процессора 100%?
  Как и где можно уменьшить аппетиты Оперы, сходу настроек не нашел, во флагах тоже не нашел.
  Ноутбук DELL Inspiron 6400 CPUC2DUO 2000MHZ 2 GB RAM DDR2 SSD 120GB VIDEO ATI X1400 W7Ux32
  Чего Опере еще надо? Зае№али тормоза и фризы, постоянные непрогрузки картинок и прочие прелести. Сейчас уже просто киплю и думаю что придется валить на новый браузер оставив за спиной десятки лет жизни с Оперой.
  Ребята, прошу помощи,что делать?
