I’ve faced the same issue with Google accounts switching between tabs in Opera. A good workaround is enabling Guest Tabs from opera://settings/early_bird (then reload the tab as a guest to keep accounts separate). Also, try checking a few settings: go to opera://settings/userInterface and disable “Snooze inactive tabs to save memory”, then open opera://settings/batterySaver and make sure battery saver is off. If you’re using Opera GX, disable any GX Control limiters. Finally, you can install the extension https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/disable-automatic-tab-dis/dnhngfnfolbmhgealdpolmhimnoliiok/source
and allow it in Opera’s extensions page this often helps stop Opera from force-reloading or resetting sessions.

RE: TranslatorOpera add-ons
I’ve been using this translator extension too, and when I saw the dreaded “error status: 0,” it really threw me off especially when switching between dictionary services. What fixed it for me was updating Opera to version 63.0.3368.43; after that, the translator worked without a hitch. Hope that helps if anyone else runs into the same snag

RE: Passkeys not working in latest Opera?Opera for Android
I'm running into the same issue with passkeys on Opera works fine on other browsers but keeps failing here. Looks very similar to what’s described in this thread: Passkey does not work on Opera and Opera GX

RE: How to close the window?Opera for Mac
Looks like on macOS, clicking the red close button ends up closing the entire Opera app even if you're just trying to close one window. A more reliable shortcut is ⌥ Option + F4 (Alt+F4 on Windows/Linux) to close the current window without quitting the browser entirely. Alternatively, if you're on Windows or Linux, Ctrl + W closes the tab (and the window if it was the last tab), while Alt + F4 closes the window directly. Hope that helps!
