@marja You said you were trying to add Notepad as an extension in Opera sidebar and had even found an extension named Notepad but that extension, of course, wasn't the program.
And it's not the Notepad because it simply can't be. There isn't an official extension for it and, most probably, there aren't even the resources for anyone to create one.
