Just downloaded a version from Opera Addons and seems to be working fine...Version 4.2.5291
at least it hasn't been blocked as of yet. -
Opera GXRE: Changing Background Music
I'm hoping there is a way to keep the current music track Opera GX is using, I'd rather have the ability to chose from whatever is available but I'd prefer to keep the present one as my default.

With this latest build I'm now getting huge CPU spikes when viewing the youtube subscriptions list...
everything slows to a crawl...even disabled ALL extensions and still the same.everything works fine in beta version.

it is..at least on mine it is...Opera Portable\profile\data
Install: J:\Opera Portable
Profile: J:\Opera Portable\profile\data
Cache: J:\Opera Portable\profile\dataJust frustrating that I can't set it as 'default browser'

I just chose Install Path and Stand-alone installation...Opera did the rest
make sure of course you are installing the 'portable version'
I've now opted to use opera this way instead of having it on my C: Drive, I much prefer it.
I chose to install mine to a secondary drive where I keep all my portable programs.
