Opera first off started making me believe in Odin and I' I'm not even a maiden. I had my sidebar set up with physics, energy, chemistry/ethics, medical, rowing, etc, etc. Each had a collection of tabs suitable to the topic and it worked brilliantly. Each time I fired up Opera it came up with the right sidebar section and the right tab I had been using when I signed off last. Then, without changing the set up, tabs started dropping off. I'm now at a stage where all the sidebar icons exist but with 1 blank tab each. I've updated where called for, checked the setup is the same and, interestingly, I can get some tabs back by using the CTRL SHFT T method and found tabs all seem to be there, but to re-arrange the original takes half the day and I drift into a state where I start believing politicians. Is there a golden button that I've missed? Lu

Disappearing tabsTab Islands, Tabs and Workspaces
Opera brilliant on Win 10 I doing something NQR Workspaces 10/15 e.g. Physics/, Row/ Council/ Brazil/ Medical etc All have icons in sidebar which mean something to me e.g. in Physics I'll have tab in top row with mesons, Boson, electron etc in chemistry I have phenanthrene, DMSO catalyst photo luminescence etc. all appear as tabs in top row
absolutely brilliant. Works really great, now looking at keeping one workspace to store reference addresses but I've found in some workspaces, the tabs vanish.. It's not permanent, I've brought on back accidentally but I'm no sure how - ) I think I started to type the address from memory and it did an autocomplete and reappeared so probably I'm missing something. Not sure what Tab islands are. Also sometimes tabs seem to contain a list of addresses
Any pointers?

Opened tabs in workspaces are goneOpera for Windows
I have 10 sidebar categories and 10 to 20 tabs in each. Opera works really well so I persist with it about 2 3 times in the past year [which is why I'm evaluating still] on boot up all the categories remain in the sidebar but with only 1 new tab in each. I haven't been able to pin it down but I suspect this happens after an auto-update.. I claw my way back largely from memory and checking through <History>. Is this an undocumented feature?
