@wokes I came here to find out where it had gone too!
I really hope someone can tell us how to turn it back on - it's essential for checking what website you are actually clicking on before you click the link!

Is there a way to scan a QR code without being automatically redirected to that link?
The automatic redirect on scanning a QR code is a scammers wet dream and a security nightmare!
I'd really rather see the url before choosing to visit it, or deciding not to.
And if the QR code is for a non-url then a safe "preview" thumbnail of what it is for, or something much more secure.
How do we export the notes in a format that we can import them in Vivaldi? V7 exports as json filetype, but Vivaldi only imports txt or markdown for notes
I would like to export my notes so I can import them in Vivaldi, but V7 exports json, and Vivaldi imports txt or MarkDown. Please help!
Hi, I've saved a bunch of links to my android phone speed dial (Opera app) so I could pick them up on my computer. But they aren't syncing. There isn't even an "other speed dials" folder in the bookmarks page now.
Yes I am signed in on both devices, yes they are both set to sync everything.
Help please!
@cratte This goes to an off-Opera page for the same Download All Images addon that we are being warned about.
Looks like a great add-on but I'm getting an error message and can't install it:
An error occurred when installing the extension: Could not install package: 'COULD_NOT_CREATE_TEMP_DIRECTORY'
Still hoping for someone to chime in on this.
Why does bookmarking in Opera Mobile always give top level, but Opera Mini gives the last created bookmark location as starting point?
The Mini behaviour is what I'd love to have but I usually use Opera Mobile
This becomes frustrating when I am doing research and need to bookmark a bunch of sites to refer to again later.
Will this variation of bookmarking ever be available in Opera Mobile
I love the way Mini offers to save new bookmarks in the most recently used folder.
I can't find how to make Mobile do it the same way, so I end up scrolling through folders every time I want to bookmark something I am currently researching. There's a lot of time working down through the same set of folders in a session
Does anyone know how to change this?
Thank you!
Is it possible to pin a specific Opera tab to the Windows 10 taskbar?
TweetDeck is closing it's separate app soon and I want a quick, easy, single click way to launch it in Opera, separate to the window I am currently working in.
I know this can be done in Chrome - Twitter are giving instructions on that, but I want to do the same with Opera.
Here's the link for doing it in Chrome

Any particularly good suggestions for what to use instead of Opera Mail client?
Achh!
So apparently in opera flags opera://flags/ this is an option turned off by default:
Multidrag in Bookmark Manager
Mac, Windows, Linux
Perform drag and drop operations on multiple items in the bookmark manager.
#bookmarks-multi-drag
So hopefully it will solve all my bookmark problems
In the next iteration would it at all be possible to have a "select mutiple and move" function?
This would usually entail a checkbox and then everything that has been checked moving when one is picked up.
That way I can more easily sort my 5000> bookmarks that have been imported
Doing them one by one is a job that is never done!
YES there is already a tick function but there is NO indication what this is for. It definitely doesn't make a selection of bookmarks moveable as a group.
THANK YOU!!!
Thanks sgunhouse! Sorry I didn't acknowledge your answer sooner
A way to create something like the old sessions is to right click on an open tab then choose Save Tabs A Speed Dial Folder - this will save all your currently opened tabs in one folder. You can then name the folder
When you want to open the "session" you right click on that folder and click Open All and all the tabs in that folder will open
I'm currently using the latest stable release (it updated this morning) 24.0.1558.61 and have noticed that I hover over a link I NO LONGER have what the link is showing in the bottom left of the page, a la pop-up.
Is it just me or has this gone?
If gone then this is Bad News because how else will we know where a link goes BEFORE clicking on it - big security no-no for years.
Thanks all

Still getting the hang of the "recent" version of Opera
Also no idea if I now have a sig and if so how to change what version I list in it
