And when I use dev tools in opera it gives that white frame around. See how ugly this is! All for round win11 style corners.
Fedora on X11 if anyone cares.

RE: Opera signing out of browser and flowOpera for Windows
Few month later the problem still persists. It's funny how the developers implement some marketing updates but don't care at all about the crucial features working unstable or not working at all.

I confirm this. When I scan QR on my phone to sync the syncs on the desktop is off and it signs out.

RE: Snapshot Crashes OperaOpera for Linux
Confirming this, crashes on every snapshot being taken when trying to 'Capture' or 'Copy and close'.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
@vikont-0 said in Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?:
If you click on the clock symbol on the sidebar (on the left hand side), it will open a history tab, with Recently Closed tabs on top. Clicking on any of them restores a tab. It's the same functionality as before, just a different location...
Thanks for that! But still, that is not that user-friendly.

@anonan said in Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?:
I absolulty don't like this modal popup.
Modal windows is an arguable UI approach and may be used in a situations when you need the user to stop and think before doing next step. Definitely not this situation! And you're right, it's far away from the button so it's not only logical and visual connection broken, it consumes more time since the user needs to move the cursor and target it.

O70, and the tip with flags not working again.
Opera devs had lost the spirit of the good old Opera. Now they are stubborn and ignore what the community needs at all. Please return to recently closed tabs icon !!!
@roberto64, we should not ask them or beg them. We are the users. We'd rather uninstall this user UNfriendly browser made with hate by unfriendly devs.

RE: Latest version number for Opera for WindowsOpera for Windows
@leocg why does Apple mark new models with a number if they could only leave the "iphone" itself? Opera just doesn't care.

RE: Side bar for only Speed Dial option | Opera 60Suggestions and feature requests
So I don't know for you guys, but I am finally up to uninstalling Opera. I was struggling the last few versions (since 58), now I'm going to get rid of this piece of user-unfriendly crap. Have a nice struggle with the sidebar.

RE: [Solved]Opera stopped working after last updateOpera for Windows
Just throw it on the ground. Opera is in a process of decay. It has been for years.
-
RE: Latest version number for Opera for WindowsOpera for Windows
@another-level It is. Google "opera pub" to find the directory with all desktop versions, including stand-alones. Though I'd better get rid of the Opera.
-
RE: Where to download the full Opera installer?Opera for Windows
Google "opera pub", you'll get a direct link to a directory with all the versions including previous ones.

RE: Side bar for only Speed Dial option | Opera 60Suggestions and feature requests
@weirdtuned, 100% agreed. Did they move UI department to a 3rd world country after they sold Opera company to Chinese investors? That is the only one explanation for making the browser unusable multi-purpose machine with an intentional decay of the user interface.

RE: Side bar for only Speed Dial option | Opera 60Suggestions and feature requests
So what's up here guys? As I understood from the messages Opera devs and designers are somewhere in a vacuum and they don't care of our opinion at all. This thing with the sidebar is the most annoying reason I stay with 58 at least for now, then I'm going to install firefox maybe.

RE: Opera News Versions 60.0.xxx - ReviewsOpera for computers
@paulokdvc as for me, the new UI is the main reason I added opera_autoupdate executive file to the block-list of my firewall. I'd better stick with Opera 58 than dealing with the new annoying bright and sharp light theme or the blueish dark one. The side bar which disappears without a trace when I'd like to just leave it at the speed dial is the other reason.

RE: Opera stable 60Opera for computers
@l33t4opera could you also do something with the themes' colors? Let users choose colors maybe with some 'flags' option.
There are always going to appear complaints like that since your UI designers seem to be perfectionists so they only spoil the good enough UI. -
RE: Change background color of header barsSuggestions and feature requests
I hate that light eyes-burning theme where there are no boundaries between the bookmarks and the address bar; and the sidebar disappears completely although I just want to see it at Speed dial.
As for me, the Opera UI becomes worse with every update. I was Opera user since version 9 or so, now it seems like my patience ends finally. -
RE: Opera stable 60Opera for computers
The new light theme makes my eyes burning. Now there's no visual boundaries between the bookmarks bar and the address bar. The sidebar disappears without a trace, though I just wanted to hide it and see at the Speed dial tab only. The last few updates "make me cry" since I cannot switch off the auto-update (Windows version).

RE: Please make old md settings for Preferences available.Suggestions and feature requests
@leocg as for me, that's senseless since those giant toggle things only clutter the view.

RE: Disable material design in flags and "settings" does not openOpera for Windows
100% agree, tried to point at that problem as well, however it's like nobody hears and everybody loves material design. C'mon, it wasn't done for the desktop.
