Love the direction Opera Air is taking playing personal music with Boosts is a fantastic touch for focus and mood. The Bluesky, Slack, and Discord integrations also make it feel way more connected and practical.

Totally agree the white flash is back and painful; Opera really needs a setting to force a consistent default background color when loading or switching pages.

Unfortunately, deleting the Downloads list usually deletes the files too, but you can try checking Google Photos/cloud backups, a file recovery app, or restore from a recent phone backup if you have one.

@KrispyJelly13 Likely a corrupted profile or extension. Try launching Opera with extensions disabled, update your graphics driver, or reinstall Opera (keep data if possible).

@oliovegardenmenu Hi, thanks for sharing the details. I checked the page and since it works fine in other browsers, this does point more toward an Opera-specific issue rather than a server outage. Opera’s built-in ad blocker and tracking protection can sometimes block required JS or lazy-loaded assets, causing partial or blank renders try disabling those specifically for this site. You may also want to test with hardware acceleration turned off, verify there are no Chromium console errors, and check for any CSS/JS features that might behave differently in Opera. If possible, testing with Opera GX or a clean Opera profile could also help narrow it down.

@thustam That would be a great addition more guided desk and chair exercises for the whole body (like seated side bends, chair pigeon, and mobility stretches) would really help prevent office syndrome and make staying active at work much easier.

tried to open a google news link from the feature on my pixel 8 pro, it tried to load then just stopped, i closed the browser and reopened to try and get it to maybe refresh and now the browser just doesn't work, I've reinstalled the app, cleared cache, restarted the phone, the only thing i haven't done is reset the phone which I'm not doing
expected behavior is that the app works, which it currently doesn't

Sounds like Opera’s WebView or profile data got corrupted try Settings → Apps → Opera → Storage → Clear storage (not just cache) and also update/clear Android System WebView & Chrome, then reboot.
If it still fails, it’s likely an Opera bug on Android 16/Pixel 8 Pro report it with the video and temporarily switch to Chrome/Firefox until a fix rolls out.
