@ikuyanov I was able to confirm this auto-raise behavior is connected to the "Sloppy" focus setting (on Ubuntu 18.04.6) with "Raise Windows When Focused" turned "Off". Turning "Raise..." "On" also raises Opera windows but does so without the delay observed (correct behavior) in other windows raising.

RE: opera moves on top of all other windowsOpera for Linux
I have confirmed this is true across several versions of Ubuntu (16,04, 18.04, and 20.04 plus the studio Ubuntu 20.04). It's a giant pain in the ass. Ridiculous this hasn't been addressed over several version releases of Opera itself.
If I have two windows in close approximation and my mouse passes over them both they will get in this tug-o-war for focus and I'll have to kill Opera to regain control over it.

RE: Sync deleted 90% of my BookmarksSynchronization
It's removed more. I have nothing remaining in my Speed Dials for two machines and maybe a dozen bookmarks remaining. So, really, more like 99.9% of all of my bookmarks have been discarded. Not in the trash; just gone. Over 20 years of curated bookmarks in Opera.

Sync deleted 90% of my BookmarksSynchronization
I have Opera on several machines. Lately Opera has not been staying connected to sync. For the second time sync has remove most of my bookmarks and speed dial entries. Previously I had a machine that was unsync'd and could use that in lieu of a backup. This time though looks like sync has attacked them all. Any help?

RE: Title bar removed from latest Opera on Ubu 16.04?Opera for Linux
@oldrivers I have no menus. I can move back and forth from full screen in many ways. I need menus to get to other functions which live in menus.

@jimunderscorep No doubt. But when did they give up on us?

Eight months after my original post and still no change. No menus. No O menu. Clearly a major bug. Worst published mistake from Opera since I started using it in, what?, 1998? Quite appalling.

RE: What is old is new?Opera account
@leocg My guess at this point is that when the changed the forums over it reduced all the post-counts for users to zero. Just a guess but it seems to fit the available facts.

@sgunhouse Thanks for the assist. Probably it'll get me closer if nothing else.

@jimunderscorep Are you running the latest Opera on Ubuntu 16.04? I am seeing this same behavior on at least three similar systems. This is pretty clearly a bug.

@sgunhouse You see my conundrum. Know anyone who could fix this so I don't have to sit idle between actions?

RE: What is old is new?Opera account
@leocg The forum itself limits how rapidly I can post new items (comments, replies, &c) telling me it's because I'm a new user.

What is old is new?Opera account
I've been using the Opera forums for more than a decade and yet I am now a new user. What gives? Can this be fixed?

Why not just put a nice red O in the left pane above the other icons? This is essentially what's done on Windows.
