Hello,
I cannot synchronize configuration data, saved passwords or Speed Dial shortcuts between two Android phones. What I want is to transfer that information from the old mobile phone to a new one. I have logged into Opera on both devices, I have activated Flow, passwords and all the remaining options, I have connected both devices successfully, and yet nothing has been transferred to the new mobile, neither the saved passwords, nor the settings, nor the history, bookmarks, or home screen shortcuts.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Thanks

RE: [Solved]Open new tabs in Opera android.Opera for Android
@leocg
Solved!
When looking at your screenshot I saw that the "+" button to add tabs did not appear, and that the bar with the login, configuration and Share buttons was at the bottom of my screen. That gave me the clue that it was a design issue. I went to Settings and Design, and there I saw that the Create tabs option was disabled.Thank you!

Above the three dots there is nothing else, only the android symbols appear (wifi, connection, battery...) -

It's precisely that no + symbol appears anywhere, that's the strange thing. At the top right I only see the 3 points where other options are displayed, but none of them are the + symbol or New tab. -
[Solved]Open new tabs in Opera android.Opera for Android
Hello,
Surely it must be something very simple, but
In Opera Android I can't find a way to open a new tab while I'm browsing, without closing the page I'm visiting at that moment. That is, suppose I am visiting these forums and I want to open a new tab to navigate to another website without closing the forum page.I looked in Opera settings and couldn't find a way to open a new tab.
Thank you. -
RE: The custom cookie settings are deleted every time I clear the historyOpera for Windows
@burnout426
Indeed, if in the Cookie Settings I select the options Allow third-party cookies, or Block third-party cookies in incognito mode, when I refresh the page these selections are not maintained and the option "Block third-party cookies" appears checked.This behavior is not logical, right? Anyway, if I do the same test that you have done, the allowed URLs are not deleted. However, what is certain is that after a few days or a few weeks using the browser, suddenly that list of allowed pages has disappeared. Since I always make sure to have the options delete the Website Settings and Third-Party Cookies unchecked, the only possibility remains that what causes the allowed pages to be deleted is Opera's own automatic updates. However, that did not happen previously. That is to say, this is a problem that happens to me recently.
When I can, I will try to do a test with an standalone installation as you suggest and see what happens. Thank you -

Hello. "Website settings" is unchecked every time I clear history, as well as unchecking "Cookies and other website data" and "passwords and other login data". -
The custom cookie settings are deleted every time I clear the historyOpera for Windows
Hello, I prefer to configure Opera so that third-party cookies are blocked. What I do to avoid having to log in to certain trusted pages is to add their URLs to allowed sites that can use Third Party Cookies.
However, this personalized configuration is deleted every time I clear the history of visited pages, despite deselecting cookies and other data and saved Passwords.My question is: If I uncheck the Cookies and Passwords options before clearing the history, shouldn't the custom settings be saved? I often clear the history and then discover that I have to log in everywhere because my custom settings with the pages that do have permission to use cookies have disappeared.
Is this a normal behavior? Thanks

RE: Is it possible to make a local backup of Opera parameters on android?Opera for Android
@cska133
Sorry, I didn't understand you. I have downloaded the ADB drivers for Windows and also a ".gui" file (universal-android-debloater-gui-0-5-1) that allows you to use the tools in a more user-friendly way. However, I have not tried to do so yet and I I will wait until I have problems with Opera, since right now it works fine. Regards - Opera for Android

Thanks for such a detailed explanation. No, I don't know this ADB mode. I'll try it, but I have two questions:
The command line doesn't seem to point to any specific directory. If I also have Opera installed on the computer, will running this command not uninstall Opera on the PC?On the other hand, on Android, how do you enable ADB debugging mode?
Thanks -

I do not know if I understood you correctly. I don't understant english very well. When I uninstalled Opera on my Android, either on purpose or by mistake, when I reinstalled the app, even the same version, all the data was lost, especially the shortcuts on the home page that took me months to fill out. As far as I know, only updating Opera directly, without previously uninstalling it, will the data be lost. But I need to uninstall Opera on my Android because it is giving me problems that I cannot solve simply by updating the version.
I have visited the link that you indicated to me, but I don't really understand what they are talking about there, it is a very long thread in German that Google translates for me in an unsatisfactory way. Anyway, there is one part that I would like you to clarify for me: The thread seems to say that if and previous or old version of Opera is downloaded, that is, if you install a version older than the one you had installed, all the data is kept. Does that refer to installing a previous version without uninstalling the current one? -
Is it possible to make a local backup of Opera parameters on android?Opera for Android
Hello!
Can I make a backup copy of the opera settings on Android that includes the shortcuts created and the cookie and password settings? I am not interested in synchronization between devices because I give each of them different uses, so the configuration I have in desktop opera, as well as for example the pages saved there, may be different from those used in Android. So, my question is if, apart from synchronization, you can make a local backup of Opera on Android so that if I need to uninstall Opera for some reason, when I reinstall the application I can recover the data and parameters that interest me the most. , such as the quick access page, since it is a job to recreate it.
Very thanks
