@daria19: I use Ubuntu and install Opera from snap. The situation is the same with the news version as well.
What is interesting, every thing works well on openSUSE + Gnome.
Under Ubuntu, sill problem with installing Gnome Extensions from the browser. The page

says : Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected
No problem in Chrome and Firefox

I was able to find it. The shortcut was Ctrl+Shift+7

Unforytnately this extention try to add password inside the Google Translate Page. It present a huge icon which make it inposible to enter the text to translate. See the image

then copy it to
/lib/chromium-browser/
It works for my directly installed Opera
Opera ask me continually to turn on the synchronization. But it is ON.
@ironbone: Maybe the problem was the wrong version of libffmpeg.so. I downloaded now the version for chromium 115 (before, I think, I had 114). We will see if it works.
For the last 3 updates, Opera very often crash my Linux.
What helps (for a short time) is deleting the GPUCache folder.
@ironbone: It works now. The problem was I have chosen the EU server. But it works only with the US Server
